July 22, 1985: Braves (26-65) at Expos (43-50)

Catcher Mike Fitzgerald smashed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Montreal Expos topped the awful Atlanta Braves by a score of 10 to 7 at OLYMPIC STADIUM. 

Fitzgerald made sure the Montreal fans enjoyed themselves. He clubbed a solo home run in the 3rd inning and clubbed a three-run home run in the 5th inning. Montreal had 11 hits for the night. 

Joe Hesketh(9-6) allowed 6 runs in 6 innings, and picked up the victory. Jeff Reardon earned his 13th save. Steve Shields(1-3) was tagged with the loss. He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 10 hits and 2 walks in 4 and 1/3 innings.
