Bryan Little had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Chicago White Sox defeated the Minnesota Twins by a score of 5 to 2 at COMISKEY PARK. 

Chicago had 4 runs cross the plate in the 3rd inning when they came up with 5 base hits. That was all the offense they were to need. The pitchers took over after the 3rd inning as neither team was able to score again. 

Tom Seaver(16-10) got the win allowing 2 runs in 7 innings. Bob James got the save, his 29th. Mike Smithson(9-17) was the loser. He allowed 12 hits and 1 walk in 6 innings.
