Fernandez(20-7) was tremendous on the mound for New York. He didn't give up much, just 2 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings. New York had just 6 hits for the afternoon.
Joaquin Andujar(14-13) was hit with the loss. He surrendered just 5 hits and no walks in 7 innings. 'I've been working on a few things in my delivery, and I think I'm hitting a good groove.' Fernandez said after the game. 'I'm ready to start another game tomorrow!'
