Brown had a big day against Atlanta. He slapped a base-hit which was good for two runs in the 5th inning, blasted a two-run home run in the 7th inning and slapped a one-base hit in the 9th inning. San Francisco banged out 9 hits on the night.
Mike Krukow(8-16) allowed 4 runs in 7 innings, and picked up the victory. The loss was charged to Rick Camp(4-11) in relief. He surrendered 2 runs and 2 hits in 2 innings.
