September 18, 1985: Rangers (70-75) at Twins (65-82)

In a close game it was the blistering-hot Minnesota Twins 6, the Texas Rangers 4 in 11 innings at METRODOME. 

The game was deadlocked at 4 after nine full innings. Minnesota ended up winning it in the 11th inning. Mike Stenhouse got things going when he drew a walk. After an out was recorded, Mark Salas came to the plate and bombed a two-run dinger making Minnesota the victor and beginning a joyous home town celebration. The game was a wild affair with the lead changing hands 5 times. 

Pete Filson(5-6) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 inning and allowing no runs. Dave Rozema(3-12) took the loss in relief.
