April 12, 1985 Game 37: Brewers (1-1) at Rangers (1-1)

Ranger fans would be in for treat today, though it would not be the knid they were looking for or wanting. Danny Darwin would channel his inner Walter Johnson and dominate Ranger hitters, Dave Rozema would make a rare start for the Rangers and was good. Just not good enough.

in the 1st Yount would double home Molitor and a Cooper single would score Yount and the Brewers were up 2-0. A Yount double in the 5th would score Molitor again and the Brewers are up 3-0. THey would tack on one more in the 9th when Ready would homer off Stewart and the putting the Brewers up 4-0.

Yount was red hot today, providing the most of the offense for the Brewers. He would go 4-4 with 2 doubles, 2 RBI, and 2 stolen bases.

Darwin was the big story tossing a 4 hit shutout and striking out 7.

The Final Score 4-0 Brewers
