Jimmy Key looked to give the bullpen the day off, but he ran out gas in the 8th and Bobby Cox was forced to bring in Tom Henke.  Key went 7.2 innings and gave up 3 runs on 7 hits.  He is now (4-2) on the season.  Key did not strike-out a single batter.

Jesse Barfield gave his team a 3-2 lead with his 12th HR.  It came with a man on.  The Blue Jays keep pace with the Tigers.  Frank Viola (4-5) is the loser, he gave up 5 runs on 9 hits in 6.1 innings.
