The Yankees cranked out 15 hits against the A's today. Don Mattingly and Dave Winfield led the way. They both went 3-5 and drove in 4 runs. Winfield hit a 2 run homer in the 9th to give the Yankees an 6-1 lead.Ron Guidry gets the win in the complete game effort. He is now (7-1) on the season.
