June 4, 1985: Indians (20-32) at Red Sox (31-19)

Mike Easler slammed a homerun and had 2 RBI at FENWAY PARK as the Boston Red Sox beat the Cleveland Indians 11 to 8. 

Boston jumped out to the early lead in the first inning when they scored 4 runs on 5 hits. Cleveland made it exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs across. 

The victory went to Al Nipper(3-3) who went 8 innings, allowing 2 runs. Roy Smith(1-2) suffered the loss. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 8 runs in 4 and 1/3 innings.
