Tom Waddell(1-4) had a solid outing for Cleveland. He went 7 innings surrendering 3 hits and 2 walks reducing his ERA from 5.11 to 4.50. Waddell got relief help from Rich Thompson who was excellent in relief and gained credit for his 3rd save.
Bill Krueger(3-7) was charged with the loss. He was hit hard and gave up 9 hits and 2 walks in 5 and 1/3 innings.
