June 16, 1985: Twins (27-33) at Rangers (31-31)

At ARLINGTON STADIUM the Minnesota Twins were battered 8 to 2 by the Texas Rangers. 

Minnesota was unable to recover after Texas went ahead in the bottom of the 2nd inning when they scored 3 runs on 3 hits. That was all Mike Mason(6-5) needed. Texas rapped out 12 hits for the night. 

Bert Blyleven(7-3) was the loser. He was unable to control the Texas offense and allowed 10 hits and 2 walks in 4 innings.
