June 19, 1985: Twins (27-36) at Royals (40-24)

Frank White left the yard and had 2 RBI and Bud Black allowed Dick Howser to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the Kansas City Royals man-handled the ice-cold Minnesota Twins - the final score was 12 to 1.

Black(8-5) pitched a solid game. He surrendered only 6 hits and 1 walk in 9 innings seeing his ERA drop from 3.57 to 3.34. Kansas City bats were hot in the 4th inning when they had 4 runs on 6 hits. Offensively, Kansas City was a juggernaut. They scored in 6 separate innings.

John Butcher(3-12) suffered the loss. He allowed Kansas City 8 runs in 3 and 1/3 innings of work.
