June 22, 1985: Angels (28-38) at White Sox (30-34)

Gene Nelson(6-8) and Ron Romanick(5-8) treated the Chicago fans to a fine pitching duel at COMISKEY PARK. The Chicago White Sox eventually emerged as victors over the California Angels by the score of 3 to 1.

Chicago scored all of the necessary runs in the 3rd inning when they tallied 3 runs on 3 hits. That was all the offense they were to need. After the 4th inning, neither team was able to score.

Bob James was credited with his 14th save.
