June 22, 1985: Indians (29-40) at A's (26-41)

Brook Jacoby jacked one out of the ballyard at OAKLAND COLISEUM as the Cleveland Indians beat the Oakland Athletics by the count of 6 to 3. 

In the 4th inning Cleveland scored 4 runs when they had 3 base hits. The biggest moment was provided by Andre Thornton who silenced the crowd when he doubled scoring two baserunners. Cleveland out-hit Oakland for the game, 14 hits to 9. 

The victory was credited to Neal Heaton(8-7) who went 8 innings, allowing 3 runs. Tom Waddell gained credit for his 8th save. Don Sutton(1-11) took the loss. He got hit pretty hard, allowing 12 hits and 4 walks in 7 innings. 

With the win Cleveland now has a record of 29-40. Oakland has a record of 26-41, worst in the division after the loss.
