June 24, 1985: Indians (29-42) at Angels (30-38)

At ANAHEIM STADIUM the California Angels outdistanced the Cleveland Indians by a final score of 5 to 1. 

California did all of it's offensive work in the 3rd inning when they scored 5 runs on 4 hits. That early scoring held up. Stu Cliburn, after tossing a perfect ninth, was credited with his 2nd save. 

The winning pitcher was Kirk McCaskill(7-7) who allowed 1 run in 7 and 2/3 innings. Vern Ruhle(4-4) took the loss. He was knocked around by California, allowing 8 hits and 3 walks in 5 innings.
