June 25, 1985: Expos (32-38) at Pirates (27-40)

Jason Thompson left the yard and had 4 RBI as the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Montreal Expos by a score of 7 to 6. 

Thompson had a good evening at the plate. He doubled in the 7th inning and clubbed a three-run home run in the 8th inning. Despite losing, Montreal out-hit Pittsburgh 13 to 10. 

Don Robinson(2-2) went 2 innings allowing 1 run for the victory. Cecilio Guante gained credit for his 9th save. Randy St. Claire(0-1) was the losing pitcher in relief. 

With the win Pittsburgh now has a record of 27-40. With this loss, Montreal has a 5-5 record of late, 32-38 overall.
