July 14, 1985: Phillies (36-50) at Braves (25-61)

In a tight game it was the Atlanta Braves 5, the Philadelphia Phillies 3 at FULTON CTY STADIUM. 

Atlanta scored all the runs they needed in the 7th inning as they scored 5 runs on 4 base hits. The big moment was provided by Dale Murphy who made the crowd come alive when he cleared the bases with a Grand Slam homerun. Both teams ended up with 10 hits on the afternoon. 

The victory was credited to Pascual Perez(1-4) who went 7 innings, allowing 3 runs. Bruce Sutter recorded his 8th save. John Denny(8-8) ended up with the loss.
