July 20, 1985: Pirates (37-52) at Padres (50-42)

The Pittsburgh Pirates edged the floundering San Diego Padres at JACK MURPHY STADIUM by the score of 3 to 2. 

The game was won by Pittsburgh with a run in the top of the 9th inning. Bill Almon blasted a solo shot. Pittsburgh finished with 10 hits in the victory. 

Rick Reuschel(11-4) picked up the victory, allowing 2 runs in 8 innings. Cecilio Guante earned his 15th save. Dave Dravecky(11-7) was hit with the loss.
