July 22, 1985: Mariners (47-46) at Blue Jays (59-35)

Left fielder George Bell ripped 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Seattle Mariners 4 to 1 at EXHIBITION STADIUM. 

Bell had a big evening at the plate. He cracked a two-run shot in the 1st inning and clubbed a solo home run in the 3rd inning. Tom Henke, after tossing a perfect ninth, was credited with his 20th save. 

Dave Stieb(17-5) went 8 innings allowing 1 run for the win. Mark Langston(8-8) was hit with the loss. He allowed 4 runs and 5 hits in 4 and 1/3 innings.
