July 27, 1985: Orioles (48-48) at White Sox (48-47)

In a lop-sided win the Baltimore Orioles ripped the Chicago White Sox by a 11 to 5 count.

The Chicago fans didn't appreciate the big day Eddie Murray had. He clubbed a three-run home run in the 1st inning and lashed a single plating a run in the 6th inning. Baltimore totaled 12 hits on the night.

Mike Flanagan(7-0) picked up the victory, allowing 3 runs in 7 and 1/3 innings. Joel Davis(1-4) absorbed the loss. He was unable to control the Baltimore offense and allowed 9 hits and 6 walks in 5 and 2/3 innings.
