August 1, 1985: Blue Jays (65-39) at Orioles (50-51)

In a lop-sided win the Toronto Blue Jays ripped the Baltimore Orioles by a 8 to 3 count.

Lloyd Moseby was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided much of the offense for the visitors. He launched a rocket-shot out of the park for a Grand Slam homerun in the 4th inning and laced a base-knock in the 8th inning. Although they lost, Baltimore did out-hit Toronto 13 to 8.

Jimmy Key(14-7) was the winner allowing 3 runs in 8 innings. Ken Dixon(4-8) took the loss. He was pinned with the loss despite not allowing an earned run in his 5 innings of work.
