Gary Gaetti had 4 hits and Bert Blyleven allowed Ray Miller to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game at ANAHEIM STADIUM as the Minnesota Twins beat the California Angels by the count of 3 to 1. 

Minnesota tallied 2 runs in the top of the 2nd inning. That was all the offense they were to need. Minnesota finished with 7 hits in the victory. 

The victory went to Blyleven(13-8) who went the distance allowing 1 run. Jim Slaton(7-12) was the losing pitcher. With the win Minnesota now has a record of 43-60. California has a record of 46-57 after the loss.
