August 22, 1985: Orioles (62-58) at Mariners (62-60)

Floyd Rayford hit a homerun and had 4 RBI at The Kingdome where the Baltimore Orioles beat the Seattle Mariners 9 to 3. 

Baltimore jumped on top to stay in the top of the 4th inning plating one baserunner using 3 hits. Cal Ripken banged out a single. Eddie Murray next to the plate and he doubled scoring the run. Seattle was out-hit by Baltimore, 13 hits to 7. 

Storm Davis(13-8) picked up the victory, allowing 3 runs in 8 and 1/3 innings. Bill Swift(5-8) was given the loss. He was touched for 9 hits and 3 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings.
