September 2, 1985: Indians (50-85) at Blue Jays (81-51)

In a lop-sided win the Cleveland Indians ripped the Toronto Blue Jays by a 7 to 2 count. 

Cleveland took the lead for good in the top of the 5th inning plating one baserunner on 2 hits. After an out was recorded, Brett Butler lined a base-hit. Pat Corrales then called for a steal which was successful. Julio Franco got his turn next, but he was a strikeout victim. Brook Jacoby stepped in and he laced a one-base hit scoring the run. Cleveland had 10 hits overall, while Toronto had 7. 

Bryan Clark(3-2) allowed 2 runs in 8 and 1/3 innings, and picked up the victory. The losing pitcher was Doyle Alexander(17-8). He pitched 7 and 2/3 innings allowing 7 hits and 4 walks.
