September 7, 1985: Indians (50-89) at Red Sox (83-52)

In a wild and wooly game at FENWAY PARK, the impressive Boston Red Sox finally topped the Cleveland Indians by the score of 14 to 13 in 10 innings. 

The score was knotted at 13 after nine innings. Boston won the hard fought contest in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Rich Gedman doubled. One out later, Glenn Hoffman came to bat and doubled making Boston the victor and beginning a joyous home town celebration. A wild and woolly affair, this game saw the lead change 6 times. 

Bob Ojeda(10-5) was the winner allowing no runs in 2 innings. The losing pitcher was Tom Waddell(7-8) in relief. He got hit pretty hard, allowing 5 hits and 2 walks in 2 and 2/3 innings.
