Eddie Murray hit a homerun and had 4 RBI at FENWAY PARK as the Baltimore Orioles beat the Boston Red Sox 9 to 4. 

Boston never recovered after Baltimore took the lead in the top of the 2nd inning when they scored 2 runs on 4 hits. Baltimore finished with 19 hits while Boston ended up with 12. 

The win went to Mike Flanagan(9-2) who allowed 3 runs in 7 innings. Oil Can Boyd(14-9) was the losing pitcher. He was touched for 3 homeruns in his 3 innings of work.
