September 13, 1985: Rangers (69-71) at Angels (60-81)

Charlie Hough shutout California as the Texas Rangers defeated the California Angels by the score of 3 to 0 at ANAHEIM STADIUM. 

Hough(13-13) was in control of the game from the outset. He didn't give up much, just 4 hits and 4 walks in 9 innings. Neither team managed to score after the 2nd inning. 

Kirk McCaskill(13-15) was the loser. Texas remained hot, improving their record to 69-71. They now have a record of 8-2 in recent days. With this loss, California has a 4-6 record of late, 60-81 overall.
