September 14, 1985: Royals (76-64) at A's (61-81)

Left fielder Dusty Baker had 4 hits and 4 RBI at OAKLAND COLISEUM as the Oakland Athletics pulled off a dramatic comeback beating the Kansas City Royals by the count of 12 to 11. 

Oakland had the winning rally in the bottom of the 9th inning plating 3 runs utilizing 5 base hits. Bruce Bochte led off and keyed the rally when he slapped a base-hit. Mickey Tettleton was next and he doubled. Jose Canseco then laced a single scoring a run. After an out was recorded, Mike Heath came to the plate and smacked a one-base hit to load the bases. Tony Phillips followed, but he was set down on strikes. Baker contributed to the rally and slapped a single making Oakland the victor and beginning a joyous home town celebration. A wild and woolly affair, this game saw the lead change 6 times. 

Steve McCatty(5-7) got credit for the victory, pitching 1/3 of an inning and allowing no runs. Joe Beckwith(9-5) took the loss in relief.
