September 20, 1985: Mariners (72-75) at Rangers (71-75)

Gary Ward hit one over the fence and had 2 RBI as the Texas Rangers beat the Seattle Mariners by a score of 5 to 3. 

Texas jumped out to the early lead in the first inning scoring one runner on 3 hits. Seattle was out-hit by Texas, 12 hits to 6. 

Mike Mason(15-12) was the winner allowing 3 runs in 7 innings. Mason got help from Greg Harris who was credited with his 34th save. The losing pitcher was Frank Wills(5-12).
