September 24, 1985: Braves (45-105) at Reds (80-70)

Center fielder Eric Davis had 4 hits at Crosley Field as the Cincinnati Reds beat the league door-mat Atlanta Braves 7 to 4. 

Atlanta never recovered after Cincinnati took the lead in the 7th inning plating an isolated run. Overall Cincinnati out-hit Atlanta 12 to 5. 

Mario Soto(21-10) allowed 4 runs in 8 innings, and picked up the victory. John Franco preserved the game for Soto, recording his his 29th save. Rick Camp(4-12) ended up with the loss in relief.
