Rick Honeycutt recorded a complete game shutout as the very talented Los Angeles Dodgers beat the woeful Atlanta Braves by a score of 6 to 0. 

Honeycutt(12-7) came through with a virtuoso performance against the Atlanta hitters. He surrendered only 5 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings. Los Angeles had a total of 10 hits for the game. 

Rick Mahler(11-18) took the loss. He gave up 4 runs and 6 hits in 7 innings.
