September 29, 1985: Angels (64-91) at Indians (59-98)

First baseman Pat Tabler had 3 base hits and Don Schulze had a strong outing as the Cleveland Indians beat the California Angels in 19 innings by a score of 4 to 3. 

Both teams had scored 3 runs after nine full innings. Cleveland won the hard fought contest in the 19th inning. Brook Jacoby stroked a single. Andre Thornton was a strikeout victim, unable to help out. One out later, Tabler then tripled resulting in an exciting win for Cleveland and a wild post-game celebration by the home town fans. Cleveland out-hit California for the game, 15 hits to 10. 

Jamie Easterly(7-5) got credit for the victory, pitching 4 innings and allowing no runs. Donnie Moore(3-6) was the loser in relief. He allowed 2 hits and no walks in 2 and 2/3 innings.
