1985 World Series Game 3: Mets (1-2) at Blue Jays (2-1)

Right fielder Jesse Barfield launched 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at EXHIBITION STADIUM as the Toronto Blue Jays came back dramatically to top the New York Mets by the score of 8 to 7. 

Toronto had the winning rally in the bottom of the 9th inning plating 2 runs on 4 base hits. Barfield was the sparkplug when he ripped a solo home run. Tony Fernandez followed next and he banged out a single. After an out was recorded, Lloyd Moseby then laced a single. One out later, George Bell came to the plate and stroked a base-hit resulting in an exciting win for Toronto and a raucous post-game celebration by the home town fans. Toronto had 15 hits overall, while New York had 6. 

Gary Lavelle(1-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 2 innings and allowing no runs. The loss was charged to Jesse Orosco(0-1) in relief. He surrendered 4 hits and no walks in 2/3 of an inning.
