October 4, 1985: Mariners (75-85) at White Sox (81-79)

Chicago White Sox won a dramatic crowd-pleaser over Seattle Mariners at COMISKEY PARK pulling it out in their last at bats, 7 to 5. 

Chicago scored the decisive runs in a big bottom of the 9th inning scoring 2 runs. After an out was recorded, Harold Baines started the attack as he drew a walk. Greg Walker was next to the plate, but was promptly struck out. Carlton Fisk then bombed a two-run dinger making Chicago victorious to the delight of the the home town crowd. Seattle out-hit Chicago 13 to 10, but Chicago ended up with more runs. 

Dave Wehrmeister(5-1) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 inning. Edwin Nunez(3-3) was hit with the loss in relief. He gave up 2 runs and 2 hits in 2 innings.
