October 5, 1985: Indians (61-100) at Twins (71-90)

Bert Blyleven went 10 solid innings as the Minnesota Twins topped the league door-mat Cleveland Indians in 10 innings by a score of 4 to 2 at METRODOME. 

The score was tied at 2 after nine. Minnesota ended up winning it in the 10th inning. After two were out Kirby Puckett opened up the rally as he doubled. Mickey Hatcher next to the plate and he cracked a two-run shot making Minnesota the victors to the delight of the home town faithful. Minnesota had 8 hits for the afternoon. 

Blyleven(20-12) finished the game allowing 2 runs in the victory. Tom Waddell(7-10) was the losing pitcher in relief. Minnesota knocked him around a bit, as he gave up 3 runs in 2 and 2/3 innings.
