September 3, 1985: Reds (70-63) at Cardinals (80-52)

Jack Clark hit a homerun and had 2 RBI as the St. Louis Cardinals topped the Cincinnati Reds by a score of 10 to 6 at BUSCH STADIUM. 

St. Louis scored 6 runs in the decisive bottom of the 6th inning with the help of 7 hits. The key at-bat was by Darrell Porter who made the home-town crowd a happy bunch when he doubled bringing in two baserunners. This was a game of many highs and lows for the home town fans, as the lead kept changing - 5 times in all. 

Ricky Horton(7-2) allowed no runs in 3 innings, and picked up the victory. John Stuper(13-7) suffered the loss in relief. He pitched 1/3 of an inning allowing 5 hits and no walks.
