September 4, 1985: Astros (64-68) at Cubs (68-66)

Catcher Mark Bailey hit 2 doubles at WRIGLEY FIELD as the Houston Astros beat the Chicago Cubs by the count of 7 to 6. 

Chicago was unable to recover after Houston went ahead in the 3rd inning scoring one runner utilizing 2 base hits. Chicago had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short. 

Bob Knepper(17-12) picked up the victory, allowing 4 runs in 7 innings. Jeff Calhoun was credited with his 4th save. Ray Fontenot(7-14) was given the loss.
