September 17, 1985: Brewers (66-78) at Orioles (71-73)

The Milwaukee Brewers edged the floundering Baltimore Orioles in 12 innings at MEMORIAL STADIUM by the score of 3 to 2. 

The game was deadlocked at 2 after nine full innings. Milwaukee won it in the 12th inning. After an out was recorded, Robin Yount doubled. After another out, Ted Simmons stepped up to the plate and he stroked a single scoring the run. Simmons took second on the throw. The Baltimore offense proved no trouble in the bottom of the 12th. 

Bob Gibson(2-2) went 2 innings allowing no runs for the win. Nate Snell(4-7) was the loser in relief. He pitched 1 inning giving up 2 hits and no walks.
