September 18, 1985: Cardinals (88-57) at Phillies (63-82)

Ozzie Virgil lofted one into the 'cheap seats' and Shane Rawley pitched a complete game at Shibe Park where the Philadelphia Phillies beat the St. Louis Cardinals by the score of 5 to 1.

St. Louis never recovered after Philadelphia took the lead in the bottom of the 2nd inning plating an isolated run. Philadelphia rapped out 10 hits for the night.

The victory was credited to Rawley(12-15) who went the distance, allowing 1 run. Danny Cox(9-12) was given the loss. He surrendered 5 runs and 8 hits in 6 innings.
