September 18, 1985: Mariners (72-74) at Royals (78-67)

Mark Langston had a complete game at ROYALS STADIUM as the Seattle Mariners beat the Kansas City Royals by the count of 10 to 1.

Kansas City was unable to claim the lead after Seattle went ahead in the 3rd inning scoring a single run on 2 base hits. That scoring would be all that was needed. Seattle had 11 hits for the night.

The winning pitcher was Langston(14-12) who allowed 1 run for the game. Mark Gubicza(10-12) was charged with the loss. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 7 runs in 6 and 2/3 innings.
