1985 World Series Game 4: Mets (2-2) at Blue Jays (2-2)

Dwight Gooden completed the game without help from the bullpen as the New York Mets outscored the Toronto Blue Jays 5 to 2. 

New York jumped on top to stay in the 5th inning scoring one runner. After two were out Danny Heep reached on an error. Howard Johnson followed and he ripped a single. Rafael Santana then reached on an error scoring the run. New York had only 5 hits for the afternoon. 

Gooden(2-0) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 2 runs. Dave Stieb(0-2) was charged with the loss. He surrendered 5 runs and 5 hits in 7 innings.
