October 5, 1985: Mariners (76-85) at White Sox (81-80)

Alvin Davis blasted 3 homeruns and had 6 RBI at COMISKEY PARK as the Seattle Mariners beat the Chicago White Sox by the count of 9 to 7. 

Davis enjoyed a big evening at the plate. He cleared the fences for a two-run home run in the 1st inning, blasted a two-run home run in the 3rd inning and blasted a two-run home run in the 4th inning. Chicago made it exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs across. 

Mike Moore(20-14) picked up the victory, allowing 5 runs in 6 and 2/3 innings. Roy Thomas recorded his 16th save. Tom Seaver(18-11) took the loss. He allowed 3 homeruns in 3 and 1/3 innings of work.
