October 6, 1985: Mariners (76-86) at White Sox (82-80)

Left fielder Rudy Law had 2 base hits as the Chicago White Sox outscored the Seattle Mariners 5 to 2. 

Chicago came up with 2 runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning when they had 3 base hits. They ended up being the winning runs. Britt Burns(14-18) got help from Bob James who pitched a perfect ninth and was credited with his 36th save. 

Matt Young(17-15) was given the loss. He was touched for 10 hits and 4 walks in 7 innings.
