April 14, 1985 Game 56: White Sox (2-1) at Red Sox (2-2)

It was a little chilly at Fenway Park today and it kept the attendace down down. Only 18, 401 showed up for this one and they would get to see a good game. Britt Burns was on the mound for the White Sox and Bruce Kison for the Red Sox.

The White Sox would get on the board first in the 2nd. Baines would homer and a Cruz single would score Fisk and the score is 2-0 White Sox. They would take a 3-0 lead in the 4th when a Cruz groundball to Gutierrez would score Gamble.

The Red Sox would even the score in the 6th. Rice would hit a 2-run homer and Armas would add a solo shot. They would take the lead in the 7th when a Boggs double scoring Gutierrez.
