April 22, 1985 Game 153: Orioles (3-8) at Rangers (4-7)

Only 8,208 Showed up at Arlington Stadium today.  They would see a fine pitching performance today from Scott McGregor of the Orioles.  Charlie Hough was solid in the loss.

In the 1st the Orioles would get theit 1st run.  Dwyer singles, Gross doubles, Lynn walks to load the bases.  Young hits a deep SACFLY to left and Dwyer tags up to make it 1-0 Orioles.  They would add 1 in the 4th on a Lynn solo home run to make 2-0.

IN the 7th Dwyer takes a Hough knuckeball and tattoos it over the left-field fence to make it 3-0.  Meanwhile McGregor is crusing along without any serious threat from the Rangers.  In the 9th with Hough still pitching Dempsey crushes one for a 3-run homer to make it 6-0 Orioles.  McGregor works the 9th without incident to pick up the shutout.
