May 10, 1985 Game 341: Braves (10-15) at Expos (12-14)

It was a wild and crazy game between the Braves and the Expos.  The Expos send Bill Laskey to the hill and for the Braves Joe Johnson makes his season debut.  The starters were hit pretty hard and then the bullpens took over.

The Expos get on the board in the 1st, with runners on 2nd and 3rd Francona hits a SACFLY to right and Law tags up and scores and the Expos have a early 1-0 lead.  In the 3rd the Expos looked like they had seized control of the game when with the bases loaded Francona singles scoring Laskey and Raines.  Then an error on by Ramirez on Brookes' grounder allows Law to score and it is now a 4-0 Expos lead.

In the 4th the Braves mount a comeback, with Perry on 2nd Horner singles to bring him home.  Komminsk then doubles, Oberkfell smokes one to Brookes who can't handle it and then throws it away and is charged a 2BE.  That allows Horner and Komminsk to score and make it a 4-3 game.

In the 6th the Braves take a 6-4 lead.  Oberkfell triples scoring 2 and then he scores on Cerone's SACFLY to center.  The Expos tie it when Francona singles with the bases loaded scoring 2.  In the 8th the Braves take the lead on Horner's solo homer off of Burke.  Sutter pitches sthe 9th and picks up his 5th save.

The Final Score 7-6 Braves
