All the scoring for this game would come in the 2nd. The Cubs would get a bases loaded SACFLY from Durham that would score Moreland to give the Cubs a 1-0 lead. But the Dodgers came right back. They have runners at 1st and 3rd, Scioscia singles scoring Guerrero, Brock then bounces into a 4-6 FC scoring Marshall and the Dodgers have a 2-1 lead.The Pitchers would take over from there and both would go all the way. Eckersley would scatter 6 hits, walk 2 and strikeout 9 over 8 innings. Fernando would only surrender 4 hits while walking 3 and striking out 7.
