May 16, 1985 Game 411: Mets (20-10) at Astros (12-20)

Ron Darling (3-3) made the most of some wildness to hold off the Astros.  He would walk 6 but only give up 4 hits.  The Astros could only come up with a couple runs as they could not take advantage of his wildness.  Darling Also struck out 6.  


The Mets offense was led by Darryl Strawberry who went 2-3 with a double and an RBI.  Nolan Ryan (4-4) survived after a Horrible 1st inning.  He gave up all the Mets runs in the frame.  He would end up going 8 innings in a losing effort.  Orosco struck out 2 in the 9th for his 7th save.
