May 18, 1985 Game 430: Rangers (12-21) at White Sox (15-16)

The Rangers had a dramatic come from behind victory today at Comisky Park.  Down 2-0 going into the 8th, they would scratch out a run.  They would also score 1 in the 9th, and 1 in the 10th for the win.

Mike Mason pitched the game of a lifetime.  He would pitch 9 innings of 3 hit 1 run ball.  He would get the win improving to (4-2).  Mason entered the game with an ERA above 6.00 and there no signs of that changing.  Mason would overcome 4 errors to keep his team in the game. Gene Nelson (2-5) took the loss in relief.

Tony LaRusso was flabbergasted at the end of the game.  "I don't even know what to say, I think it will be one of those games where I'll wonder should I have left Britt in the game."
