May 18, 1985 Game 436: Blue Jays (22-11) at Twins (14-20)

The Twins had a come from behind victory today at the Metrodome.  They fell behind early as the Blue Jays scored 3 off of Bert Blyleven (4-1) in the 2nd.  But the Twins would chip away at that lead and score single runs in the 4th, 5th and then take the lead in the 8th.

Blyleven would settle down after that but the Blue Jays looked poised to score more runs in the 4th.  But Gary Gaetti snags a hard line drive off the bat of Cliff Johnson and turns it into a triple play, ending the threat.  Doyle Alexander (6-1) takes the loss.  Jesse Barfield went 0-3 and his 21 game hitting streak comes to an end.

The Final Score 4-3 Twins
